An amazing client of ours has tasked us to find the next leader of their Finance Department. Leading the way in innovative food concepts, the business is on target to hit turnover of £21m this year, targeting £25m next year. Their unique branded food concepts are designed and delivered into the foodservice and retail markets. Working with some of the UK’s largest catering contractors to provide high-quality and delicious food, they have a passion for innovation and have their sights firmly set on high-levels of continued growth. This role would ideally suit a fully qualified management accountant or finance manager, with 2-3 years’ experience in industry, but they will consider newly qualified accountants with the right drive and personality. You’ll have the autonomy to take full control of the finance department, shape it’s future, and become part of the fabric of the business. With a heavy reliance on third parties for accounting assistance at the moment, you’ll be tasked with bringing this function fully in-house. This isn’t a role where you’ll be sat at your desk responding to emails, and crunching numbers all day, in fact, it wouldn’t suit someone looking for that. This is a hands-on, management of department position, with the potential to move into a full financial director position in the future. From a salary perspective you will be looking at £40,000 – 60,000 DOE, with a range of company benefits, and amazing offices in North-Oxfordshire. You’ll be expected to be office based Mon-Thurs, with Friday’s free to work from home, or head to the office. Plenty of flexibility around start/finish times, and time-off for kids appointments, activities, sports days etc. We appreciate this is only a snapshot of the role, so if you are interested and want to know more, call me, send me a message (Richard Lambert on LinkedIn), DM, or whatever is easiest. We encourage anyone who feels they are suitable to apply. We love seeing diversity in our applicants. We use specialist technology to ensure there are no gender biases in our adverts. Every applicant will receive a response. We sometimes make mistakes and miss things from CVs, so you will be given an opportunity to receive feedback and discuss the role in more detail if you feel necessary.
