Specialist Cleaning Supervisor
££38,256 – £39,276 per annum
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide day-to-day supervision, guidance, and support to Specialist Cleaning and Hoarder Support staff.
2. Allocate workloads and monitor performance to ensure work is completed to agreed standards and timescales.
3. Oversee deep cleaning and hoarding interventions, ensuring respectful, person-centred delivery.
4. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, safeguarding, and lone working policies.
5. Maintain accurate records, reports, and staff supervision documentation.
6. Support the induction, training, and development of new and existing staff.
7. Liaise with partner agencies to coordinate complex cases.
8. Manage safe use of vehicles, equipment, and cleaning materials.
9. Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion across all service areas.
About You
You will be an experienced team leader or supervisor with a background in specialist cleaning, hoarding support, housing, or similar community services.
You will bring:
10. Experience supervising and motivating staff.
11. A strong understanding of Health and Safety and infection control procedures.
12. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
13. Confidence managing challenging situations and supporting residents with complex needs.
14. A compassionate, resident-focused approach.
15. The ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends where required.
16. A full UK driving licence (essential).
