Position: Room Leader
Hours: Full Time - 40 Hours Per Week
Salary: £29,244
Your Role
As our Room Leader, you will be working in our toddler room, caring for children aged 1-2 years. You will collaborate closely with other rooms to ensure smooth and positive transitions, contributing to a nurturing and welcoming environment for all.
Our nursery operates from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and we require flexibility to work varied shift patterns within these hours.

Your Responsibilities
As a Room Leader, you will:
* Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to children's age and development.
* Enhance children's physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development.
* Assist staff in updating the EyLog system and child learning journals with high-quality information.
* Lead by example, promoting respect and credibility in your role.
* Support the key person approach to help children form secure attachments.
* Maintain accurate records related to children and staff on the EyMan system.
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor.
* Understand and meet the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:

Essential: Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification.
*
Essential: Over 1 year’s experience working in Early Years.
*
Desirable: Over 6 months’ experience in a senior position.
*
Desirable: Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations for achieving a Good or Outstanding rating.
*
Essential: Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements.
*
Essential: Fluency in written and spoken English.
