The Role

* Planning and delivering engaging, hands-on lessons aligned with the national curriculum and examination specifications.
* Teaching core areas such as product design, resistant materials, and design processes.
* Supporting students in developing practical workshop skills and safe working practices.
* Preparing students for GCSE examinations and coursework moderation.
* Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on student progress.
* Contributing to curriculum development and departmental improvement planning.
* Supporting enrichment opportunities such as STEM clubs, design competitions, and project showcases.
Candidate Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Strong subject knowledge in Design & Technology.
