Job Description
* Monitor and manage client accounts to ensure timely payments.
* Identify overdue accounts and initiate appropriate actions for resolution.
* Maintain accurate records of payments and account statuses.
* Communicate effectively with clients to resolve payment queries.
* Prepare and distribute regular account statements to clients.
* Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance department to improve credit control processes.
* Support the preparation of financial reports related to credit control activities.
* Provide excellent customer service while maintaining firm credit control practices.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller should have:
* Previous experience in a similar role, in particular.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Experience using SAGE.
* A good understanding of accounting principles and credit control processes.
* Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* The ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
