Branch Supervisor
Hours: 44 per week – Permanent role; Monday–Friday 7:00 am to 4:30 pm, Saturday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm on rota.
Location: Site based.
Salary: £32,909 basic per year, with realistic total earning potential of up to £36,414 per year through bonus/OTE.

About the role: The Branch Supervisor works closely with the Branch Manager and Trade Counter colleagues to deliver excellence in customer service and operational standards, building strong customer relationships and driving sales and market share. The role is hands‑on, leading by example.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead day‑to‑day branch operations and support the Branch Manager.
* Provide exceptional customer service to new and existing customers.
* Ensure operational excellence and achievement of branch sales targets.
* Support delivery of sales targets while maintaining positive customer relationships.
* Assist with branch operations and support Branch colleagues as required.
* Ensure team completes actions and activities on time, and in full.
* Maintain compliance with Health and Safety, company policies and procedures.
* Undertake stock‑takes and audits.
* Maintain maintenance records for branch vehicles.
* Conduct front‑of‑house, warehousing, and merchanting housekeeping.
Required Qualifications / Skills
* Passion and energy for exceptional customer service and achieving business targets.
* Hands‑on, customer‑focused approach; confident, happy to serve customers and proactively engage.
* Commercial mindset to drive sales and maximise margins while ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Good organisational skills with ability to prioritise and use initiative.
* Confident IT user with experience of MS Office and industry‑standard software such as SAP.
* Full and valid driving licence; FLT licence an advantage.
* Capability to cover for the Branch Manager when required.
* Experience in branch stock‑takes an advantage.
* Comfort in a small team and occasionally as a solo operator.
* Experience in a similar role within trade/builders merchant/retail, glazing or uPVC environment an advantage.
