Our client is a leading manufacturer on the edge of Essex and Hertfordshire. Due to continued customer demand, they are looking to bring in another engineer into the maintenance team. Please be aware that this is a very industrial environment which will involve working outdoors and at times, a cold, wet and dusty working environment: full PPE provided.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned maintenance and reactive breakdowns on production machinery
* Work on hydraulic and pneumatic systems
* Fault find on electrical and mechanic component
* At time, work in confined space, heights, outdoors and in dusty, cold and wet environments
* Be flexible to cover annual leave and take overtime opportunities
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
* Minimum Level 2 qualification in Electrical Engineering
* Test and Inspection
* Electrical Installations
* 18th Edition
* Experience in manufacturing: FMCG, Food, Packaging, Glass, Automotive, Plant, Construction, Steel, Building Products, Bespoke, CNC, Chemical, Plastics, Quarry/Mining, etc.
* Be a multiskilled Maintenance Engineer: 70/30 electrical
* Engineers straight out of apprenticeship will be considered
* Flexibility around hours/ overtime/ cover
* Be prepared to work in a heavy manufacturing environment
