Job Title: Behavior Support Teaching Assistant
Location: Clitheroe, Lancashire (10 minutes drive outside of Clitheroe)
Position Type: Full-time, Term Time Only
Responsibilities:
* Work closely with the identified Key Stage 2 child, providing one-on-one support to address challenging behavior and promote positive engagement.
* Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to implement behavior management strategies and interventions tailored to the individual needs of the student.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages the child's social and emotional development.
* Maintain accurate records of the child's progress, behavior incidents, and interventions implemented.
Requirements:
* Experience working with children in an educational or similar setting, preferably with a focus on behavior support.
* A clear understanding of behavior management strategies and the ability to apply them effectively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the holistic development of students.
* Relevant qualifications or training in behavior support or a related field.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of GCSEs in English and Mathematics (or equivalent).
* Relevant training or qualifications in behavior support or a related field.
Working Hours:
* Full-time position.
* Term time only.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
