Your tasks
Job Purpose:
You will work in the Ground Services department, ensuring high performance standards in aircraft turnaround, operational communication, and flight monitoring/record keeping. This role is hands-on, requiring competence in Aircraft Dispatch and Weight & Balance. A background in Aviation Ground Handling with Operations/Dispatch/Load Planning experience is preferred.
Main Responsibilities & Objectives:
* Deliver the highest customer service levels consistently
* Manage aircraft turnaround support
* Oversee safe, secure aircraft arrival/departure, including ramp safety management
* Ensure staff compliance with health & safety regulations
* Oversee aircraft unloading/loading
* Assist with passenger services and safety
* Comply with weight & balance documentation and load sheet regulations
* Supervise ramp and customer service agents
* Coordinate fuel loading with the captain and fuel provider
* Ensure security procedures for baggage are followed
* Present and amend load sheets for the captain
* Follow baggage reconciliation and security protocols
* Operate radio equipment effectively
* Coordinate services delivery and record keeping
* Manage pushback procedures and FOD checks
* Enhance relationships with staff, airport, and service providers
* Perform other related duties as required
Salary: £13.32 per hour, 37.5 hours/week
A fixed-term contract with potential for permanence.
Your profile
Experience:
* At least 2 years’ experience as a TCO or Aircraft Dispatcher
* Meet or exceed airline service level agreements/KPIs
* Compliance with all regulatory, HSE, airline, and company procedures
* Leadership and delivery of excellent customer service
Must be able to:
* Provide a complete 5-year history with no gaps
* Have been a UK resident for the last 5 years
* Obtain a clear DBS certificate
