Our department sees around 40,000 patients each year and is supported by a committed group of medical and nursing staff. As part of our senior clinical team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring excellent patient care, as well as mentoring and supervising junior doctors and medical students. Dumfries & Galloway is a welcoming and scenic region covering 2,500 square miles, with a population of approximately 150,000. As the only major Emergency Department in the area, we provide comprehensive care to a wide range of patients including; adults and children with medical, surgical, and trauma presentations.
