Customer Service Administrator (12 month FTC)

Location: Bickland Water Road, Falmouth — Type: Hybrid

Job Summary

The Customer Service Administrator plays a vital role in delivering exceptional sales administration and support. The position focuses on efficiently processing orders and maintaining accurate records to ensure a seamless customer experience.


Key Responsibilities

* Accurate Order Entry and Management – efficiently input customer orders into the ERP/CRM system, ensuring compliance with company policies and monitoring progress.
* Main point of customer contact – drive communication with customers to keep them aware of order status and escalated issues to the Customer Service Team Leader where necessary.
* Invoice and Quotation Preparation – generate and issue invoices and quotations promptly following established guidelines.
* Collaboration with Internal Teams – coordinate with Customer Solutions and Sales Engineers to provide up‑to‑date information and streamline operations.
* Process Improvement – gather and monitor feedback, analyse insights and suggest enhancements to Sales Administration processes.
* CRM Management – maintain accurate customer account information and document interactions.
* Returns Processing and Issue Resolution – handle customer returns efficiently and resolve related issues.


Skills / Experience

* Proven experience in a customer service or support role, including order processing, ideally in a B2B environment.
* Strong organisational and time‑management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and experience using ERP/CRM systems.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer‑focused mindset.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Proactive attitude, attention to detail and capacity to handle pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
* Commitment to personal development and continuous improvement.
