About the Role
As a History Teacher, your responsibilities may include:
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 advantageous)
* Teaching a broad and balanced History curriculum
* Bringing historical events, themes, and interpretations to life
* Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all students
* Assessing progress and providing constructive, meaningful feedback
* Creating a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
* Managing behaviour in line with school policies
* Working collaboratively with departments and senior leaders
* Supporting pupils with additional needs where required

Requirements
* QTS or QTLS (or strong FE History teaching experience)
* Experience teaching History in a secondary school setting
* Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for History education
* Adaptable, proactive, and professional approach
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
* Two professional references covering the last two years
