Acoustic Consultant (Build Environment)
Hybrid Role, Head office in Bedford
Basic up to £25,000 + Benefits
Our client is a well-established firm having worked in the Energy and Sustainability within the construction markets for over 20 years. In this time, they have seen solid stable growth and have developed into new areas due to client demand.
Due to this expansion, their Acoustics Team is growing and they have an opening for an acoustics consultant who has a passion for the built environment and is looking for a long-term career in this field. You will be provided with some excellent training to allow you to work on a wide range of exciting projects while developing your technical skills and career in acoustics consultancy.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct site visits to attend to client needs and carry heavy equipment.
2. Complete reports handling technical and written work.
3. Liaise with clients to achieve required end results.
Minimum Requirements:
1. BSc or BEng in a related discipline to acoustics, mechanical engineering, maths, physics, or music tech with ideally maths or science-based A-levels.
2. Some work experience in a customer-facing role.
3. Good written and spoken communication skills with a personable manner.
4. Full UK driving licence and own car.
5. Right to work in the UK.
