About the Role:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Computer Science Team Lead for a full-time position at an outstanding school in Chelmsford, starting in September. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Computer Science educator with leadership potential to inspire students and lead a dynamic team. As the Computer Science Team Lead, you will play a key role in shaping the department's vision, curriculum, and ensuring student success at both GCSE and A-Level.

Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage the Computer Science department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality lessons at GCSE and A-Level.
· Develop and implement a forward-thinking Computer Science curriculum that engages students and enhances their understanding of key concepts.
· Inspire and mentor a team of Computer Science teachers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
· Drive the department’s initiatives to integrate technology, enhance learning experiences, and ensure the department’s continued growth.
· Work collaboratively with senior leadership to align departmental objectives with the school's overall goals.
Experience and Qualifications:
· A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
· PGCE or QTS.
· Proven experience teaching Computer Science at secondary school level (including PGCE placements).
· Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and manage a team.
· A passion for technology and education, with a vision for advancing Computer Science education within the school.
Salary:
This Computer Science Team Lead role will be offered on a permanent contract, with a salary aligned to the MPS/UPS pay scale, plus additional allowances for leadership responsibilities.
