Section Engineer - Major Infrastructure Project

We're recruiting a Section Engineer to join a major civil and infrastructure project in Suffolk. This is a key role, taking ownership of a defined section of works on a large-scale, high-profile scheme.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a section of works
* Develop and maintain short-term programmes
* Supervise Site Engineers and coordinate delivery teams
* Manage QA processes including ITPs, inspections, and red‑line drawings
* Prepare and approve RAMS, ensuring H&S compliance
* Liaise with designers, subcontractors, and supply chain
* Support planning, methodology, and problem-solving on site
Requirements
* Experience as a Section Engineer on major infrastructure projects
* Strong background in earthworks, drainage, and utilities diversions
* Good understanding of QA, RAMS, and construction delivery
* Strong communication and leadership skills
* Energy sector experience is beneficial but not essential.
