Job Description
* WOOD are currently looking for hire a Principal Instrument Engineer with Honeywell experience to join our BP Team on a PSC 12 month contract working outside IR35
* Focal point within a Control/Instrument engineering team to replace legacy and obsolete equipment within the Honeywell Integrated Control & Safety System on BP’s Clair platform
* Act as the UK focal point for the Control/Instrument engineering team based in India
* Responsible for all procurement activities on Honeywell and non-Honeywell scopes (inter panel cabling etc)
* Provide support for FSA and CHAZOP activities in co-ordination with the client
* Liaise closely with the client Operations and Project teams including office visits
* Liaise closely with Honeywell and all identified 3rd parties including office visits
* Liaise closely with other disciplines, Construction and Commissioning
* Organise, plan and coordinate own work as well as the resources assigned on the project
* Execute assigned work in accordance with applicable contract procedures, client and project standards
* Originate, check and approve all associated deliverables as required within budget and schedule
