£17.00 - £34.00 PER HOUR
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Coventry, West Midlands.

Rates of Pay
• Basic: £17.00 per hour
• Overtime after 9 hours: £21.25 per hour
• Overtime on sixth shift: £34.00 per hour
• All breaks paid
Day-to-Day Duties
• Complete RDC or brewery deliveries with no handball (curtain-side work)
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured safely
• Adhere to traffic laws, company regulations, and delivery schedules
Essential Skills
• Valid UK Category CE Driving Licence
• Minimum of 12 months' experience driving CE vehicles
• No more than six penalty points (minor infringements only)
• Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good spoken and written English
Desirable Experience
• Previous commercial driving experience
• Experience in brewery deliveries is advantageous
Training Provided
• Drivers must pass an assessment followed by a one-day paid induction
• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout
