AXA IM Real Assets is seeking a Financial Controller to join their London based Financial Management and Controlling Team. The Financial Controller will be primarily responsible for managing the revenue streams, accounting, tax, service charge, treasury, reporting andernance aspects of various real estate investment structures in the UK and overseas.
The successful candidate would co-ordinate the production of Investor and regulatory reporting and support the monitoring of investment performance, working closely with Fund Management, Asset Management and Development Teams.
The role will involve liaising with parties both within and outside the organisation and requires an individual who has strongmunication and presentation skills.
The successful candidate will be required to adapt as the FMCG function evolves and to assist in the role-out of an ongoing systems/controls/processes upgrade (project SHIFT).
Your role and responsibilities will include:
1. Liaison with Investors as required: organising/attending meetings, presenting results and answering questions
2. Contribute to discussions with MB and IC members to assist decision making
3. Liaison with directors and CoSec to provide goodernance to corporate structures
4. Adoption of new working practices involving implementation of SHIFT protocols for interaction with third party service providers (Corporate Manager,pany Secretary, Property Manager, Tax Advisor etc.)
5. Implementation of investment acquisition and disposal strategies following tax and structuring guidelines. Assisting with the establishment of external debt financing as required
6. Monitor and control the preparation of management accounts, statutory accounts and taxpliance and ensure goodernance and timely reporting
7. Oversee an annual corporate budgeting process and maintain Fund Models to report actual and forecast performance
8. Monitor working capital requirements to ensure investments are properly funded. Apply appropriate cash repatriation mechanisms to meet Investor requirements
9. Debt monitoring and covenant reporting to ensurepliance with external financing, where appropriate
10. Oversee delivery of property service charges, contributing to the control process to ensure adherence to budgets and timely delivery
11. Providing covenant checks on prospective tenants and service providers
12. Monitor and control tenant arrears collection in conjunction with Asset Management
13. Debt monitoring and covenant reporting to ensurepliance with external financing, where appropriate

Your qualifications, knowledge and experience:
14. ACA, ACCA or equivalent, with established post qualification experience
15. Experience in audit or working closely with auditors
16. Experience of debt financing
17. Experience of overseas corporate structures
18. Understanding of a variety of corporate structures and their tax status
19. Experience in real estate asset management
20. Excellent English oral and writtenmunication skills
21. Advancedputer skills. Experience of Yardi and Anaplan highly desirable
