With a friendly company culture and stunning offices, they offer services from form feasibility through to construction project support, working on a range of projects from Residential Developments to Commercial and Retail parks and Local Authority infrastructure.
They are looking for a "Structural Engineer" to join their team, working in one of their four offices in North or South Devon.
The right candidate:
We are looking for an experienced ""Structural Engineer" with project experience across either residential or commercial developments. Key skills and experience include:
BEng recognised by the Engineering Council with post-graduate experience in a field of structural engineering gained in the UK.
Graduate Member of either the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE) or Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) and be working towards professional chartership status desirable.
Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English, including technical report writing skills.
Experience in the design of structures in concrete, steel. Experience in design of structures in masonry and timber preferable not essential.
Experience with use of 2D and 3D structural design packages such as TEKLA Structural Designer, TEDDS, Masterseries etc.
Experience working with Building Information Modelling (BIM) and within a 3D environment generally.
Experience using AutoCAD and Revit beneficial, but not essential.
Familiarity with key forms of building construction.
Be a collaborative, confident and ambitious team player and be able to use own initiative.
