Day Rate: Dependent on Experience - Umbrella only recruitment - This is only available to individuals working via an Umbrella company, we can assist you with this
Location: Working from home (you may be required to travel to London)
The ideal Market Abuse Consultant will have:
* Demonstrable experience, at least three years, conducting trade surveillance and reviewing market abuse risks across different financial instruments
* Knowledge of UK MAR, MiFID II, FCA expectations, ESMA guidance, and global market abuse regulations
* Experience in Market Abuse Risk Assessment (MARA) methods and processes is essential
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risk scenarios, detect patterns, and interpret surveillance data effectively
* Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels, including technical, front-office and IT teams
* Demonstrable consulting and advisory experience within financial services
* Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to identify priority targets
