Our client is a leading engineering manufacturer and, due to continued success, they are seeking a talented Sales and Administrator to join their division.
Key Responsibilities
1. Using SAP effectively to raise quotes and orders correctly and efficiently.
2. Utilizing our CRM system to log calls and visits to current and potential customers, keeping opportunities up to date and maintaining data accuracy.
3. Working to achieve monthly sales targets and highlighting areas needing immediate attention to maximize sales opportunities.
4. Maintaining regular contact with customers for whom you have internal account responsibility and providing support for those customers where you support the external sales team.
5. Evaluating competitor activity to understand their strengths, weaknesses, and packages to enhance our service offerings.
6. Assisting with sales campaigns, open days, trade days, and customer presentations as required.
7. Adhering to operating procedures and working with colleagues to improve efficiencies.
8. Promoting best practices within the team by identifying areas for improvement.
9. Developing sales opportunities through research, account building, rapport, and providing technical information.
10. Checking customer buying history, suggesting related and new items, and explaining technical features.
11. Capturing key account information such as contact details, industry data, and spend potential in CRM systems.
12. Participating in trade shows, email campaigns, customer visits, and mill visits, which may require working outside regular hours.
