We are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking Real Estate Paralegal to join a busy residential property team in London. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced solicitors in a collaborative and supportive environment, gaining exposure across the full conveyancing lifecycle.
The Role
You will support a solicitor in managing a varied caseload of residential property transactions, assisting from initial instruction through to post-completion. This is a hands-on role offering client interaction and the chance to develop your technical knowledge within a respected legal practice.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with the management of live conveyancing files from instruction to completion
* Handling file opening procedures and AML compliance checks
* Supporting exchange, completion, and post-completion formalities
* Drafting financial statements and invoices
* Submitting AP1 applications and SDLT returns
* Liaising with clients, agents, and third parties throughout transactions
* Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
* Providing general administrative and ad-hoc support to the team
Key Requirements
* Previous conveyancing experience within a legal environment (essential)
* A law degree or equivalent qualification (preferred)
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
* Confident communicator with good interpersonal skills
* Proactive, detail-oriented, and commercially aware
* A flexible team player with a positive and professional approach
