Interim Finance Manager
Our end user client is looking for an interim finance manager to take on full end‑to‑end P&L responsibility for a SaaS based subsidiary business. The role is hybrid, with 2 days per week on‑site in Chesterfield and the remainder remote. The position offers a salary range of £300 – £350 per day (outside IR35). Candidates must hold a formal finance qualification and have relevant experience.
Key Skills & Experience
* Fully qualified ACCA, ICAEW, or CIMA
* 3‑5 years post‑qualified experience with P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments and depreciation
* Excellent understanding of double‑entry bookkeeping
* Good understanding of end‑to‑end financial processes and controls
* Excellent communication and relationship management skills
Responsibilities
* E2E ownership of the P&L account, balance sheet, budget and forecasting activities
* Preparation of month‑end for both the profit and loss account and balance sheet
* Commercial price changes and associated activities
* Accounts payable and accounts receivable
* Full ownership of month‑end tasks from preparation through to posting journals and reconciliations
* Production of financial statements and applications
* Preparation of spreadsheets, reports and correspondence as required
* Support the year‑end audit process
* Preparation of month‑end packs
* Balance sheet reconciliations
