The Role
You’ll support the PE team with lessons, activities, and sports clubs, helping to create a positive and active environment for students. No two days look the same. One minute you’re setting up equipment, the next you’re leading warm-ups or supporting behaviour on the sidelines.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Assisting with PE lessons across KS3 and KS4
2. Leading small groups and supporting whole-class activities
3. Helping run sports clubs, fixtures, and extra-curricular sessions
4. Encouraging confidence, teamwork, and resilience in pupils
5. Working closely with teaching staff to keep lessons running smoothly

6. A genuine passion for sport and fitness
7. Experience working with young people, ideally in a school or community setting
8. Confident communication and strong classroom presence
9. Someone positive, dependable, and ready to get stuck in
10. A willingness to learn and grow, with support from the department

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
