Job Overview
My client, a leading Investment Management company, is looking to hire a newly qualified ACA/ACCA to join their growing private equity finance team.
Responsibilities:
* Financial management of the corporate entities including UK corporate, LLPs and international entities (Singapore, US and Guernsey), including outsourced entities.
* Integrate multiple data source monthly reporting (including outsource provider) to a single system.
* Review and oversight of work undertaken by the assistant accountant; and peer review of work undertaken by Corporate Accountants.
* Assist with planning and preparation/review of year-end statutory accounts and audit.
* Preparation of regulatory reporting to international governing bodies (FCA, MAS, SEC and GFSC).
* Prepare and assist with the regulatory filings including quarterly FCA filing and annual ICARA process.
* Monitor capital and liquidity adequacy at all times in all Group regulated entities.
* Adhere to governance and financial control processes including review and update of finance policies and procedures; and compliance with ISAE & SOX controls.
* Respond to tax team queries in a timely manner to assist with the year-end tax process (Singapore, UK, US and Guernsey).
* Maintain current and relevant systems including continuous improvement of processes and systems.
* Adhere to the FCA’s Conduct Rules, understanding that they set basic standards of good personal conduct.
Minimum Qualifications:
* A minimum 2.1 degree classification (or equivalent).
* Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
* Previous finance experience in private equity or Infrastructure industry desirable.
* Experience of dealing with multiple deadlines and prioritising tasks.
* Experience of team management/support of more junior team members.
* Broad finance systems experience, with FIS Investran or SunSystems knowledge preferable.
