Job Title: Assistant Director – Corporate Property
Working Pattern: Hybrid, 2 days office‑based (full‑time hours)
Salary: £105,651 to £117,758
Location: Lincolnshire

About The Role
As Assistant Director – Corporate Property, you will provide strategic leadership for all Corporate Property functions and their teams. You will deliver results, set direction, inspire others, and drive meaningful, lasting change across a complex public sector environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver the council’s Property Capital Programme, covering education, fire and rescue, care, community and operational properties.
* Ensure the council’s property portfolio meets statutory, legislative and best‑practice standards.
* Manage re‑procurement, contract management and transition to new strategic property delivery models.
* Lead property rationalisation and redevelopment in response to changing council needs.
* Provide strategic property advice and promote good property practice to councillors, senior officers, commissioners and services.
What We Are Looking For
To be successful you’ll have exceptional leadership and relationship management skills, and demonstrable experience of leading successful teams.
You Will Also Bring
* A degree in a relevant property subject, plus an appropriate chartered professional and/or postgraduate property qualification.
* Minimum five years’ post‑qualification experience in a senior leadership role within large, complex organisations, with a proven track‑record of delivering public services.
* The ability to quickly establish strong, positive relationships across all organisational levels, including with elected members.
* Experience of developing and implementing planning, commissioning and performance frameworks in a multidisciplinary, political and partnership environment.
* Effective budget management skills and demonstrable experience of achieving value for money.
