Position Overview
As a Preventative Maintenance Engineer, you will collaborate closely with our service controller to ensure our equipment is always operational and ready for our customers. Your role will involve:
* Preventative Maintenance Servicing: Conduct routine servicing of equipment according to manufacturer guidelines (75% of your time).
* Machine Inspection: Perform visual and mechanical analyses to identify potential issues (20% of your time).
* Minor Repairs: Carry out minor repairs and installations as needed (5% of your time).
Location
This role is field-based, covering areas including St Neots, Biggleswade, Huntingdon, and Letchworth.

Working Conditions
You'll enjoy a flexible working schedule with:
* 43 hours per week with flexible start and finish times.
* Monday to Friday work pattern, with one Saturday every three weeks at an overtime rate.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* A basic knowledge of Engines, Hydraulics, Powertrain, and Vehicle Electrics/Electronics.
* Direct experience (around 3 years) in a related engineering function, such as car mechanic, HGV fitter, or Agricultural Engineer.
* A full driving license held for at least 2 years (subject to DVLA check).
* A formal apprenticeship qualification (C&G level 1) is desirable.
