Primary School Teaching Assistant
We are currently seeking Teaching Assistants to work in schools. If you are an experienced teaching assistant, higher learning teaching assistant, or a learning support assistant, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
* Supporting the teacher with lesson delivery
* Preparing classrooms for lessons, including setting up equipment
* Managing behaviour and engaging students in their learning
* Working with students one-on-one or in small groups outside the classroom
* Supporting both teachers and students to succeed
Candidate Requirements:
* Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (Supporting Teaching and Learning) or at least 1 year of relevant experience in a school setting (recent references required)
* Confident communication skills and ability to motivate students (1-2-1 or small group support)
* Current Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new DBS (cost applies)
