QC/QA Specialist - Fashion
* Annual Salary: Up to £32,000 (depending on qualifications and experience)

We are seeking a QC/QA Specialist to join our team, ensuring all garments and fashion products meet the highest quality standards at various stages of production. This role is crucial for maintaining our brand's reputation by overseeing product specifications, identifying defects, ensuring compliance with brand requirements, and implementing continuous improvement measures.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Pre-Production Quality Checks:
o Evaluate and approve garment samples, trims, and fabrics.
o Review tech packs and ensure suppliers correctly interpret specifications.
o Conduct risk analysis of product designs to identify potential quality issues.
* Final Inspections:
o Perform final random inspections (FRIs) to ensure products meet quality standards.
o Manage shipment sample checks.
o Receive and review inspection reports, ensuring any necessary corrective actions are implemented.
* Quality Assurance Processes:
o Develop and implement SOPs and quality checklists for internal teams and vendors.
o Ensure adherence to AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) standards.
o Maintain records of inspection findings and prepare detailed quality reports.
* Vendor Management:
o Collaborate closely with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure product quality compliance.
o Train vendor QC teams on brand standards and best practices.
o Support the on-boarding of new vendors with clear quality expectations and processes.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration:
o Work with design, production, and merchandising teams to ensure alignment on quality expectations.
o Provide feedback to technical and product development teams on recurring quality issues.
* Sustainability & Compliance:
o Ensure production processes meet environmental and ethical standards.
o Monitor compliance with relevant certifications (e.g., GOTS, OEKO-TEX, WRAP).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Degree/Diploma in Fashion Technology, Textile Engineering, or related field.
* 3–5 years of experience in QC/QA within the fashion or garment industry.
* Strong understanding of garment construction and textile properties.
* Familiarity with quality standards (ISO, AQL, etc.).
* Proactive in identifying and resolving quality issues.
* Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and quality management software.
