Our facility includes 13 consulting rooms, minor treatment room, pre-op assessment and a comprehensive diagnostic imaging suite, and a dedicated women's health unit. The Outpatient Department supports a wide range of specialties, offering excellent opportunities for professional development. Key Responsibilities: Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and monitoring vital signs. Assisting with minor procedures (such as hysteroscopies, shave excisions, biopsys etc), diagnostic tests, and clinical interventions. Supporting consultants during outpatient clinics and ensuring smooth patient flow. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient care and clinical activities. Preparing clinic rooms and ensuring all equipment is clean, functional, and ready for use. Upholding patient dignity, privacy, and comfort throughout their visit. Providing clear health education and post-treatment advice to patients and their families. Acting as a chaperone during consultations and procedures when required. Responding promptly to medical emergencies and supporting the crash team as needed. Adhering to infection prevention and control protocols, including decontamination of instruments. Managing stock levels and ensuring the safe and efficient use of clinical supplies. Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care. Participating in audits, training, and continuous professional development activities. Escalating concerns or changes in patient condition to senior staff appropriately. Previous experience in a healthcare setting, ideally within Outpatients. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Commitment to personal and professional development Flexible and responsive to change. The ability to be flexible with working patterns, around the needs of the service.
