Walker & Sloan are working with an outstanding regional construction contractor to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to deliver projects across Swindon and the surrounding region.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected contractor with a strong pipeline of work and a reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the South West.
Responsibilities
* As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take responsibility for the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account.
* Managing project budgets, cost control and reporting
* Procurement and management of subcontract packages
* Valuations, variations and payment applications
* Supporting project teams with commercial strategy
* Managing risk and ensuring financial performance of projects
About You
* Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or experienced Project Quantity Surveyor
* Background working for a main contractor
* Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
* Experience managing projects from start to completion
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
