We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and be adept at diagnosing and repairing various types of machinery and vehicles. Duties
* Conduct thorough inspections of machinery and vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake checks, and tyre rotations.
* Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
* Repair or replace faulty components, such as engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
* Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all work performed.
* Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and enhance service delivery.
Experience
* Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is essential.
* Familiarity with various types of machinery, including cars, lorries, or industrial equipment is advantageous.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
* Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and clients.
* A relevant qualification in mechanics or automotive engineering is preferred but not mandatory.
