N-able is expanding its Managed Security Services (MSS) portfolio and is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the roadmap, execution, and continuous improvement of key security services. In this role, you will be responsible for Security Awareness Training, Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Scanning, and Patching, working closely with Engineering, Security Operations, Service Delivery, and Go-to-Market teams.
This role focuses on translating strategy into execution—improving existing services based on customer experience and growth objectives, while also helping define and shape new managed security services that expand value for MSP partners and drive adoption and revenue.
The role is hybrid requiring 2-3 days a week in the office and based in Dundee. Our Edinburgh hub is also an option.
What You'll Do
4. Own the product lifecycle and roadmap for Security Awareness Training, Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Scanning, and Patching services and drive continuous service improvement initiatives based on customer feedback, operational insights, and business performance.
5. Partner with MSPs, internal stakeholders, and customer-facing teams to identify gaps, pain points, and opportunities to improve service quality, scalability, and outcomes.
6. Help define and evaluate new managed security services or service enhancements that support customer growth, retention, and expansion.
7. Translate service concepts, requirements, and improvements into clear, actionable specifications for Engineering and Service Delivery teams.
8. Collaborate closely with Engineering, SOC, and Service Delivery to design scalable workflows, SLAs, and operational processes.
9. Support vendor and technology evaluations related to existing services and potential new offerings and act as the primary subject-matter expert for assigned services in internal discussions and customer-facing engagements.
10. Work with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to support packaging, positioning, enablement, and launch readiness.
11. Define and track success metrics such as adoption, customer satisfaction, service performance, and growth impact.
What You'll Bring
12. Proven ownership of prioritisation, trade‑off decisions, and execution for complex security services within an established product and business strategy.
13. Demonstrated contribution to broader MSS strategy and roadmap planning, including service evolution and new security offerings.
14. Experience leading large‑scale, operationally delivered security services, balancing reliability, scalability, and customer outcomes.
15. Strong ability to balance customer experience, operational feasibility, and growth objectives in a managed services environment.
16. Track record of driving incremental innovation through continuous service improvement, rather than greenfield product development alone.
17. Highly effective at cross‑functional execution, working closely with engineering, operations, security, and commercial stakeholders.
18. Leads through influence, credibility, and accountability, without reliance on direct people management authority.
