If you studied Chemistry or Chemical Engineering because you wanted to build, optimise and improve real-world systems this is where theory meets scale.
This is about applying chemistry inside live manufacturing environments where formulation, process and performance directly affect product quality, cost efficiency and sustainability.
You will help optimise chemical formulations, improve production performance and commission new manufacturing lines.
You will see the commercial and operational impact of your technical decisions.
What you will be doing:
As a Divisional Technical Process Graduate, you will:
* Develop and optimise chemical formulations used in industrial production
* Support the commissioning of new production lines
* Review and refine critical process parameters to improve quality
* Identify opportunities to reduce cost without compromising performance
* Analyse data, interpret results and make evidence-based recommendations
* Collaborate with operations, engineering and R&D teams
You will move between theory, data and production.
You must:
* Be in your final year of study or have graduated within the last 12 months
* Have no more than 12 months of full-time professional experience (placements and internships do not count)
* Hold or be on track to achieve a Degree or Master’s in:
* Chemical Engineering
* Be available to start no later than 30 September 2026
Right to Work
* Have the permanent right to live and work in the UK or EU, depending on your chosen location
Technical capability
You should demonstrate:
* Strong understanding of chemical processes or formulation science
* Ability to analyse data and interpret results critically
* Logical, structured problem-solving skills
* Interest in industrial manufacturing environments
* Confidence applying theory to operational challenges
This role is analytical and practical. You must be comfortable moving between both.
Personal attributes
We are looking for graduates who:
* Perform well under pressure
* Go beyond minimum expectations
* Are motivated to continuously learn and adapt
* Communicate clearly in both technical and non-technical discussions
* Want to build depth of expertise, not just experience
If you want to develop technical credibility in a global industrial business, it is.
What you will gain
* Full employment from day one
* Exposure to international Technical & R&D operations
* Access to senior technical and business leaders
* The opportunity to work across multiple divisions including insulation, panels, environmental systems and advanced building solutions
* A long-term pathway into senior technical or process leadership roles
This is a foundation for a serious technical career.
Recruitment process
* Online application
* Online task-based assessment
* Individual presentation
* Competency-based interview
* Possible follow-up call or site visit
You may submit only one application, so choose carefully.
