Hours are 8.00am to 9.00am Monday - Friday
We are seeking a Supervisory Assistant to complement the existing team, on a fixed term basis from October 2025 - June, 2026. The postholder will support with breakfast club provision.
Security and compliance
This post is considered Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scotland Act 2007. From 28 February 2011 preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
School context
St. John the Baptist Primary School is a denominational school serving the village of Fauldhouse. It is part of the St. Kentigern's Academy School cluster. The school roll is 168 with pupils being organised into seven classes (P1-7). The senior leadership team comprises the Head Teacher, a Principal Teacher and an acting Principal Teacher. In addition to seven class teachers, there are four pupil support workers, and a support for learning teacher. The school office is staffed by an Administrative Assistant.
