How we will support you in the role

· We will provide you with the knowledge and resources that will enable you to become a true Specialist Financial Advisor to Educational professionals.

· You will have in depth training on the complex teachers’ pension scheme which will prepare you to become part of a team that are industry experts on this product.

· Following an initial assessment of your advice, experience and knowledge, we will enrol you on a bespoke onboarding programme that will cater to your learning requirements to allow you to excel as a recognised specialist that delivers complex advice to Education professionals in your respective territory.

· As well as having the ability to generate your own leads, our award-winning Marketing team will also provide you with high quality Medical leads with strong potential for conversion.

· You will have dedicated support from our Education Paraplanning team as well as an additional support team who will answer general queries from education professionals to allow you to focus on using your expertise to deliver more complex and tailored financial advice to your customers.

· We have a sizable team of Medical Relationship Co-ordinators who will book your appointments and work closely with you to ensure the schedule works for you.

· Joining a team that has partnerships & affinities with Education professionals as well as an exclusive contract with one of the UK's biggest teaching unions, which allows our Advisors to gain knowledge and insights from these specialist areas.

· We have rightsized our advisor population to ensure that you will have access to a loyal and sizable client bank of education professionals, some of whom we have been serving for over 20 years

· You will have autonomy to use your expertise to determine what advice and products are best for your customer

How you will support your customers?

· Put Educational professionals at the heart of what you do by using your expertise to be their critical friend that provides quality specialist financial advice on life insurance, pension, investment, wealth management and Inheritance Tax to truly maximise their wealth opportunities and individual needs.

· Formulate client engagement strategies to drive acquisition and long-term loyalty.

· You will build a genuine connection with your customers by developing a deep understanding of their financial needs and aspirations and by demonstrating the value and difference that your specialist financial advice can make to their future as well as their families'.

· Develop relationships with our Education partnerships and affinities to understand the ongoing challenges that Education professionals are facing, which you will then take into account when providing advice. This in turn will demonstrate to your customers that you are an educated trusted partner to their profession

· Build successful relationships with the wider support teams and offer suggestions on how we can collaboratively deliver the best possible outcome to our customers in an efficient and timely way.

What you will bring to the role?

· QCF Level 4 qualified (essential) and Competent Advisor Status

· Chartered status would be advantageous

· Experience of providing financial planning in a regulated environment and ideally used to working with complex advice and experience wealth management

· A demonstrated ability to be able to nurture a grow a customer base

· An ambitious attitude with a business growth mindset

· Proven history of being able to build long lasting and meaningful customer relationships

· Innovation and practicality that will support in achieving optimum outcomes for you, for our customers and for our business

· A continuous thirst for knowledge that will support you in seeking better ways to serve your customers

· A strategic and innovative thinker with a pragmatic and inquisitive mindset

· Someone that is trustworthy and acts with ethical integrity

· Experience in identifying challenges that will impact your customers and establishing solutions to resolve these.

· Strong communication and active listening skills who takes the time to truly understand the customer's needs, and leverages their expertise to offer thoughtful, tailored recommendations.

· Experience of working against income budget targets

Benefits

A starting salary of £50,000 - £60,000 with an OTE of £79,000

1. Bonus scheme with a potential to earn 160% of your salary per year (40% per quarter) with an additional maximum on target behaviour bonus of 15% (7.5% typical pay out)
2. 28 days holiday plus bank holidays. Once you’ve been at Wesleyan for 5 years it will increase to 30 days.
