As a Digital Marketing Executive at Unity Mutual, you will support the delivery and management of digital marketing activities. Working closely with the wider marketing and operations team, you'll play an important role in the development and ongoing optimisation of Unity Mutual's website, contribute to campaign execution, and support the growth of our digital presence across key channels.
You'll help grow brand awareness and support lead generation through the use of digital tools and techniques, including website management, organic social media, email marketing, and performance reporting.
This is an exciting opportunity to build your experience in digital marketing within the financial services sector, working as part of a small, collaborative team that values curiosity, creativity, and continuous learning.
Key responsibilities
• Help update and maintain content on the website to support a smooth, user-friendly, and informative self-service journey.
• Support the creation and optimisation of landing pages for campaigns, ensuring they are engaging, accessible, and aligned with brand messaging.
• Assist in the coordination and delivery of digital marketing activities to help generate leads for Unity Mutual products.
• Monitor and report on website and campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics, helping track key metrics like traffic, engagement, and conversions.
• Support the implementation of technical SEO updates from our SEO agency and ensure best practices are followed.
• Assist in reviewing customer touchpoints and assessing the digital customer experience.
• Help plan and schedule engaging organic content across our social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram).
• Support the execution of email marketing campaigns, including building templates, segmenting audiences, and reporting on performance.
• Stay up to date with digital marketing trends and share insights to help shape our wider content and channel strategy.
• Contribute to the ongoing optimisation of digital activity by tracking key performance indicators such as cost per click, cost per conversion, and audience engagement.
About you
• A solid understanding of core marketing principles and digital marketing channels (web, SEO, email, social media).
• A creative thinker with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Familiar with marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, SEO tools, Meta Business Suite, Canva, Hotjar, or CRM/email systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive and eager to learn, with a test-and-learn mindset.
• Confident using data to inform decisions and improve performance.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Ideally, some experience working in or understanding a regulated industry (e.g. financial services, healthcare, insurance).
