Who are we looking for? We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Assistant to join our Technical Department. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with BRGCS, verifying production processes, conducting quality checks, supporting audits and maintaining accurate documentation. Key Responsibilities Assist with BRCGS and internal policy compliance Daily CCP verifications and the monitoring of the Pre-Requisite Programme and Critical Control Points within production areas Equipment calibration (temperature probes, pH probes etc) Assisting with product checks (Organoleptic, viscous testing, weight checks etc) and where necessary, complete daily paperwork. Verify finished product labels and case end labels to ensure correct dates. Complete GMP & Hygiene audits. Complete daily/monthly/quarterly Glass & Hard Plastic audits. Verification of line cleaning. Micro-sampling to site schedule and manage an ongoing shelf-life library of finished products. Assist with complaint investigation. Adheres to Company general policies i.e. Food Safety, Health & Safety, etc. Maintain true, clear, comprehensive and accurate documentations for all activities. Be flexible to assist with other jobs within Technical Department as required. Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will have: 1 year experience in a QA role within the food industry An understanding of operating integrity, quality processes and systems with high standards for compliance and quality.
