* Produce timely, accurate, and reliable financial information in line with month-end and year-end timetables.
* Establish effective working relationships with budget holders, ensuring understanding and ownership of financial issues pertinent to their services.
* Support the Finance Manager with budget-setting and maintenance of a defined portfolio of services.
* Assist the Finance Manager with research award costings.
* Monitor costs and identify financial risks early.

Education/Qualifications
* Essential: AAT Qualified or equivalent experience.
* Essential: Evidence of compliance with institute CPD requirements.
* Desirable: Ambition to gain further professional qualification.
* Desirable: CCAB part-qualified.
Experience
* Essential: Experience of working in an NHS or similar non-profit organization.
* Essential: Experience in finance.
* Essential: Experience working with financial systems and processes.
* Essential: Experience in analyzing and assessing financial and non-financial data.
* Desirable: Experience in a similar role.
Knowledge & Skills
* Essential: Excellent communication skills, including presenting and summarizing data into meaningful information for non-finance managers and colleagues.
