Job Duties

include:

- Perform all clerical tasks and duties to insure the efficacy of operation of the Academic Center for Excellence and Enrollment Management units.

- Provides communication and front-line support by serving as the primary point of contact for students, faculty, and visitors, ensuring inquiries are addressed professionally and in a timely manner.

- Responsible for budget and financial administration, including monitoring budgets, processing financial transactions, and reconciling accounts in accordance with university policies.

- Maintains and updates institutional data systems to ensure accurate reporting and effective administrative support.

- Supervise work study students and manage all scheduling activities of student workers.

Minimum Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIRED FOR ENTRY:

- Extensive experience managing a university office and supervising student workers (Peer Tutors and Technology Assistants).

- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

- Strong written and oral communication skills.

- Strong organizational skills.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality, especially regarding student records.

- Ability to interact effectively with students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

- Experience managing records, scheduling, and general office operations.

Additional Considerations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Associate's degree, preferred.

- Previous administrative or clerical experience, preferably in higher education or student-services environment.

- Ability to manage budgets, travel arrangements, office supply inventories, and general office functions.
