Job Role: Criminal Justice Recovery Practitioner
Location: Gravesend
Rate: £23 P/H LTD Umbrella (£20.33 PAYE INC)
About the Role:
1. Supporting service users from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey
2. Providing screening, assessment, and recovery planning and onward referral
3. Reducing drug and alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community
4. Liaison and partnership working including police, probation, courts, prisons
5. Promoting carer, service user, and community involvement
6. Providing advocacy for access to partnership services
7. Motivational Interviewing
8. Children’s & adult safeguarding
9. Substance awareness
10. Working with service users to support social (re)integration, enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives
11. Promoting recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination
About You:
12. Strong understanding of substance misuse issues and/or experience in a similar field
13. Excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with good IT skills
14. Proactive and able to work on own initiative with excellent time management and prioritizing skills
15. Supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills
16. Able to work in partnership with a wide range of professionals, agencies, and stakeholders
17. Ability to manage change successfully prioritizing service users' needs
18. Commitment to information governance processes and safeguarding practices
19. Willingness to seek out learning opportunities for professional growth
20. Ability to contribute to the learning and development of other
