The Trust is delighted to offer the opportunity foran experienced, enthusiastic, and highly motivated individual to join theirTeam. The post holder will work with Childrenand young people with severe to moderate mental health in a therapeutic rolewithin a CAHMS setting.
Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) are offeredacross Worcestershire. The age range is 0-18 years for children referred to theservice with mental health problems.
Main duties of the job
Provide a high quality, community based service to the childrenand families within a multi-disciplinary team providing a community based childand adolescent mental health service. This is a developing service and theremay be opportunities to work in different teams as the service transforms.
Ensure thateach referred patient and where necessary their family receives an individualspecialist assessment, risk assessment and care plan and is the subject ofregular evaluation which, wherever practicable is formulated in conjunctionwith the patient and/or their family.
Provide arange of services and approaches as part of the Senior Practitioner role ieconsultation, specialist advice, clinical supervision and support to thoseworking with children those in primary care, health visitors, schoolnurses, teaching staff, residential staff, social workers,, youth service, et
Establish andmaintain supportive and therapeutic relationships with children and theirfamilies referred to the local Team.
Operate inany appropriate setting including hospital, primary care facilities,residential homes, schools and units and if appropriate the childs own home.

Qualifications
Essential
1. Professional clinical qualification RMN / OT / Social Worker etc.
2. Evidence of post registered clinical qualifications/training or be able to demonstrate an equivalent level of training to a minimum of post graduate
3. diploma level
4. Current registration with relevant professional body

5. Specific qualification in a relevant therapeutic speciality counselling, Family Therapy,
6. CBT, substance misuse
7. Non-medical prescriber
