London – £40,000 - £45,000
Due to growth a 0-4 PQE Criminal Solicitor is wanted by a highly regarded Legal 500 ranked London based law firm. The successful candidate will have acquired a good grounding in a high street or Criminal Law specialist and possess or be working to Duty Solicitor Accreditation. Salary is upwards of £40,000 and dependent on experience with comprehensive benefits.
The successful Duty Solicitor will join a busy department, and manage a caseload of general crime matters. Day to day duties will vary and include providing advice at court and police stations, file preparation and reviews for magistrates and crown court cases, advocacy in the magistrate’s court for trials, bail applications and remand hearings. The onwards journey will include progression towards the management of serious crime and VHCC matters.
