Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Denny for 3 Journeyman Coopers. The Cooper will be responsible for the daily tasks of repairing, rebuilding, resizing, and creating specialist casks. This includes inspecting casks for damages, replacing staves and heads, and ensuring all work meets our quality standards. The role also involves collaborating with the team to select and grade casks, as well as maintaining tools and equipment.
Qualifications
* Expertise in cask repairs, rebuilding, and resizing
* Skilled in inspecting casks for damages and performing necessary replacements
* Experience with re-toasting and charring barrels
* Knowledge of selecting and grading casks
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Proficiency with cooperage tools and equipment
* Relevant certification
