This role has a starting salary of £53,713 per annum, based on a 36 hour working week.
We are excited to be hiring a new Assistant People Business Partner to join our fantastic Business Partnering team within our People and Change function, based in Woodhatch Place, Reigate. This role will be supporting the Resources, Place, and Community Protection and Emergencies directorates.

We are looking for an Assistant People Business Partner to support us in understanding how the world is changing and what this means for our workforce so we can design effective workforce initiatives that have real impact for our employees, and ultimately for Surrey's residents. This will involve working with services on their strategic workforce plans and supporting with change as we embark on the LGR (Local Government Reorganisation) programme.
Shortlisting Criteria
To be considered for shortlisting for this position, your application will clearly evidence the following:
10. Chartered MCIPD, or working towards, or equivalent experience
11. Solid background in generalist HR, or in-depth experience in a specialist area with a learning towards change management
12. Proven skills in the analysis and interpretation of data, identifying trends and testing solutions, presenting results and putting forward recommendations to support resolutions and decision making
13. Building strong trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels in order to influence management practice and behaviour
14. Strong coaching and mentoring skills and a true collaborator
