We are seeking a College Business Administrator for each of our Colleges: College of Health & Society, College of Creative Arts, Technology and Engineering, and College of Leadership and Innovation. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in delivering excellent customer service, general and finance administration, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsible to: College Business Manager
Job Purpose: To provide comprehensive administrative and financial support to the College, fostering an inclusive university community where everyone can be themselves.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for operational information, demonstrating high standards of customer service.
* Support line managers with onboarding new staff and processing leavers.
* Assist the College Business Manager with communications, timetabling, and admissions.
* Process staff travel applications, ensuring value for money.
* Prepare and generate invoices, complying with financial regulations.
* Administer payments for Guest Lecturers and Experts by Experience.
* Maintain accurate financial reports for budgeting and decision-making.
* Support Deans with calendar management, meetings, and travel arrangements.
* Assist in planning and delivering College events and meetings.
* Prepare purchase requisitions for goods and services.
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including GDPR, Health and Safety, UKVI, and Equality & Diversity.
* Perform other duties as required.
Person Specification - Essential Criteria
Education & Qualifications: Level 2 Maths/English
Knowledge & Experience: Customer service, administration, finance administration, handling conflicting priorities
Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft tools, excellent communication, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, independently, and prioritize workload
