We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Park Operative to join our team, covering weekends and supporting the day-to-day running of the park.
This is a practical role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, carrying out maintenance, and helping to keep the park safe, tidy, and well-presented for owners and guests.
Key Duties Include
· General park maintenance and groundskeeping
· Groundworks and maintaining park grounds
· Basic maintenance inside lodges, including minor repairs, painting, and decorating
· Carrying out routine checks across the park and reporting health and safety issues
· Assisting owners and guests when required
· Supporting ongoing and seasonal park projects
Training and Development
The successful candidate will be put forward for weed-killing (PA1/PA6) certification and a range of additional training courses, offering opportunities to develop skills and progress within the role.
About You
· Practical, reliable, and self-motivated
· Able to work independently and manage tasks effectively
· Comfortable with weekend working
· Previous experience in park maintenance, groundskeeping, estates, or similar roles is an advantage but not essential
· Willing to learn and undertake training
