Falkirk's tourism economy is on an exciting growth trajectory, attracting more visitors than ever before and is now firmly established as an essential part of the Scottish visitor experience.
Following the introduction of the Visitor Levy (Scotland) Act, Falkirk Council is undertaking a project to consider what a Falkirk Levy could look like. We are seeking an experienced tourism professional to lead this high-profile project.
The role involves developing a draft Visitor Levy Scheme, commissioning and analyzing impact assessments, leading industry and community engagement, and ensuring compliance with the Act and related guidance.
This is a temporary position until November 2027, covering a specific project.
