Lead Generator – Energy

Salary: £35 - £45K base DOE + Commission £45 - £60K

Location: Jarrow

Hours: Monday - Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm, Friday: 9:00am - 3:00pm (with potential 1pm early finish as an incentive)

As a Lead Generator you will be responsible for identifying, contacting, and qualifying new business prospects for the company's energy consultancy services. This role supports the wider sales team by creating a strong pipeline of potential clients, helping businesses reduce their energy costs and improve efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

* Generate new business leads by contacting businesses via phone and other outreach methods.
* Qualify leads by understanding their energy usage, needs, and suitability for the company services.
* Develop relationships with prospective clients and hand over warm leads to the sales/energy consultant team.
* Maintain accurate records of lead activity within internal systems/CRM.
* Meet and exceed lead‑generation targets in a fast‑paced environment.


About You (Candidate Profile)

* Experience in Energy sector B2B lead generation or sales.
* Confident, resilient, and comfortable speaking with businesses by phone.
* Ambitious, self‑motivated, and target‑driven.
* Able to quickly build rapport and maintain a professional tone.
* Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
* Ability to work towards KPIs and handle rejection professionally.
* Proficiency with basic computer systems and CRM usage.
