We are assisting a growing IT service provider who seeks an experienced Bid Manager & Bid Writer for a central government client. This role will focus on bid development and response writing, working closely with commercial stakeholders to shape and refine submission materials.
Active SC Clearance is essential for this project.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and contribute to the development and writing of a central government bid within a short delivery timeframe.
* Collaborate with commercial teams to develop and align catalogue or service offering content as part of the overall submission.
* Provide strategic input and insight to senior stakeholders, helping to shape the positioning and messaging of the bid.
* Develop supporting evidence, case studies, and value propositions to strengthen the response and demonstrate organisational capability.
* Maintain a focused, delivery-oriented approach to ensure deadlines and bid requirements are met.
Required Experience
* Experience of supporting public sector bid responses, particularly for Central Government.
* Proven ability to produce high-quality bid content under tight timelines.
* Experience of collaborating with commercial teams and senior stakeholders.
* Strong understanding of competitive bid processes and strategic positioning.
* Commercial experience operating as a Bid Manager & Bid Writer.
* Active SC Clearance is essential.
